The event is in English, but the language of music is universal.

Tao Lin is an American novelist, poet, essayist, short-story writer, and artist. He has published three novels, several books of poetry, short stories and novellas. His latest novel is Taipei, now being published in Swedish by Constant Reader. In it, New Yorker Paul navigates between the art and literary scenes of Manhattan, and Taipei in Taiwan, confronting his family roots.

Tao Lin is considered one of the main figures of the literary movement called Alt Lit, where social media and internet are used as tools for writing, publishing and literary talks.

Tao Lin will be in conversation with poet and writer Elis Burrau, literary editor at Nöjesguiden.

Do join us when David Clapham, author of two novels, gives a short talk on the pros and cons of being an writer without a literary agent, and the pleasures and pains of self publishing. 

After this there will be a release party for his latest book: The Special and the Ordinary. Refreshments and signing afterwards!
