The Malmö sneak-preview bookshop is now open!
While our proper shop is being renovated (it’s going to be grand once finished!), we’ve sneaked into the shop two doors left of our shop – also Södra Förstadsgatan 4 – to set up a temporary sneak-preview shop. We just couldn’t wait any longer!
This sneak-preview shop, while much smaller than the proper shop will be, will give you a taste of what The English Bookshop is and who we are. And we’re so excited to get to meet you!
We open the door to the sneak-preview shop on Saturday 29 August at 10:00!

We are finally planning to pack our book bags and get everything ready for the opening of The English Bookshop at Södra Förstadsgatan 4.
And we do have some news for you!
Whilst our permanent shop needs some extra time before opening its doors to all the book lovers, we will give said book lovers a lil’ sneak peek of what we are and what we offer before the Grand Opening. A not-so-little appetiser before we dig in, so to speak…
This Sneak Preview, as we call it, will open towards the end of August (opened on Saturday 29 August), and you can expect books, books, and more books – amongst other fun happenings (!).
You’ll find us in the same building as the upcoming permanent shop, just two doors west (still at number 4).
