Congratulations to Julian Barnes for winning the 2011 Man Booker Prize for Fiction for his novel "The Sense of an Ending"!
Dame Stella Rimington, Chair of the 2011 judges, made the announcement at the awards dinner at London's Guildhall and she comments: "Julian Barnes' The Sense of an Ending has the markings of a classic of English Literature. Thursday 6 October at 7pm we're hosting a book launch in our shop in Gamla stan. M. S. Lyon we'll read from and talk about her debut novel Excerpts from the Life and Times of Tara Malone, loosely based on the author's experiences in Swinging London in the sixties. Snacks and drinkies served.
