The game is afoot! Join Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson to follow the clues around Uppsala and solve their latest mystery.

Prizes for best costume (Victorian & in-character!) and best solved puzzles.

Adventure Trail begins at 3 o’clock, tea and talk at 17.30.
Trail starts and ends at the bookshop on Svartbäcksgatan 19.

Thank You-sale continues: Green Dot Treasure Hunt!

Green dot treasure hunt

UPPSALA & STOCKHOLM | Mon 29th Feb – Sun 6th March

We had so much fun with the Thank You-sale last week, that we wanted to thank you even more. So the Thank You-sale continues for one more week with a Green Dot Treasure Hunt!

Green dot treasure hunt

All books you can find in our shops that have the green dot are rare treasures. Find any three of them and we will give you the most expensive one for free! Yes, you heard right:

3 for 2 on all books with green dots
– and the most expensive book is for free!

It’s a deluxe book treasure hunt, and what can beat that? The treasure hunt ends at the end of Sunday March 7.

Happy Hunting!

Thank You-sale: 3 for 2 on everything all weekend

Thank You-sale: 3 for 2 all weekend

UPPSALA & STOCKHOLM | Fri 26th – Sun 28th February

Thank you

Last year we sold more books than ever before. Again.

So we thought we’d throw a Thank You-sale. Because it is you, our friends and customers, who keep making this happen.

Don’t miss the Thank You-sale this weekend, Friday 26th – Sun 28th February!

3 for 2 on everything in the shop. Except furniture. And staff. In-shop cash or card purchases only. An amazing offer not combinable with less amazing offers. (It’s amazing enough already.) Amazingly 3 for 2 translates also into 6 for 4, or 9 for 6, or… ah, you get the idea.

Once again, thank you for making the bookshop a living meeting place for booklovers!
