The Sidewalk Supersale is cancelled this Saturday. (Too rainy...) Or rather postponed – we'll be back next week. As will the sunny summer weather... Watch this space for next opportunity to make crazy bargains.

Tomorrow afternoon, Friday 1st July, at 1 pm, on the sidewalk in front of our little corner shop your minds will be blown (but not your wallets)!!!

We’re chucking out loads and loads of really good titles we need to get rid of (shop’s a little TOO charmingly cluttered of late) – and (and I’m going to shout now) THE PRICES ARE AMAZING!

Any 1 book for 20 kronor. (Dirt cheap, I know but wait...)
Any 4 books for 50 kronor. (Wow! That's cheap, but hold on... )
Any 10 books for 120 kronor. (Say what????)

Yes – sale is on Friday afternoon and Saturday only, and while stocks last and we still have strength.

SO – go home and sleep now, and after a lovely lazy morning, come downtown and make the bargain of a lifetime. Bring a little money and a trolley.

Midsummer is here and the bookshops will be closed for a few days for midsummer celebrations – so stock up on your midsummer’s reading today. (Reading is fortunately an every-kind-of-weather activity…).

The Uppsala shop will be closed Friday and Saturday, and the Stockholm shop Friday–Sunday.

It’s time for a Birthday Party – and you’re invited! Saturday 11th June we’ll celebrate one year in Sofo in Stockholm with all day festivities in the Stockholm shop!

Special Birthday Offers all day (3-for-2 on everything!) and a full on Birthday Party from 17:00 with drinks, snacks, games and of course BOOKS!

The music event Make Musik STHLM will go on all day in Sofo, so we’ll have some amazing bands playing just outside of the shop.

Welcome to play the Ogoola Karuta Poetry Game – an English version of the Japanese game Karuta.

A game about listening and finding FAST what you are listening to in the cards you will pick. Grab the correct cards before the others do in order to win! Known as an intellectual martial arts game in Japan. The cards have famous poetry quotes on them but no prior knowledge is needed!

No entrance fee but we have limited space – please let us know if you are planning to join! Sign up at the Stockholm shop. Japanese tea and crackers will be served.
