Book Club – Insiders selections

We pick a title in different genres and send it out to our subscribers for a regular fee. You can pick a genre: fiction, non-fiction or crime/mystery. Some members have stayed with us the whole time, others have come and gone and then returned again! Thank you all for your useful comments, your perseverance and your committed reading! You're a fantastic Book Club!

Vill du få en pocket i månaden, speciellt utvald ur den stora engelskspråkiga utgivningen? Alla urvalen är personligt gjorda av oss på bokhandeln och det är titlar och författare som inte riktigt blivit kända i Sverige ännu. Läs dem först i vår bokklubb!

Välj bara om du vill ha allmän skönlitteratur, deckare/thriller eller non-fiction (biografi / historia / reseskildring). Priserna per bok se du nedan, portot är inkluderat. Du får en faktura fyra gånger per år, var tredje månad. Du kan när som helst säga till att du inte längre vill vara med. Om du vill returnera boken du fått skickar du bara tillbaks den (du betalar portot) i oläst skick till oss i Uppsala.

Here's how we define the categories:

• Fiction: a new not overly known title from a writer writing in the English language.
• British Crime picks are usually, but not always, British, in the vein of Agatha Christie. Not too bloody or psychological, sometimes set in an historical setting.
• US Crime/Thrillers picks are often American, but again not always. Here you will find authors in the tradition of Michael Connelly, Harlan Coben, Dennis Lehane, Elizabeth George, Martina Cole, Val McDermid, Minette Walters etcetera. But not those particular authors.
• Non-fiction will continue to be lively interesting journalism about diverse topics of interest.
• Paranormal category! Here you will find new voices in alternate world writing.
